For the newer members i'll start from the beginning.
In 2008 i had game recipes written on bits of paper, in a notebook and in the diary. One night when my Mrs was at bingo i decided to set up a website to store those recipes.
Move on seventeen years and it's still going strong. It's nothing pretty as it was never meant for public viewing but now it seems a shame to not share it. You don't have to join it but it might give you some ideas, after all it has well over twelve hundred recipes covering many game meats.
Go to www.1245.forumotion.net
Hopefully you will find it of some use.

You have done some work there

To be honest i wouldn't have a clue how to change browsers.
Well you cant be that bad at IT as you've managed to create that fabulous recipe resource!
To say I was IT "illiterate" would be an under statement, i can turn the computer on and thats about all I want to know! Having said that even I managed to swap my browser. It was only a matter or downloading it and setting it to default.

Setting the site up was the easy bit.
'It's only a matter of ....
Well, that's honestly a different world for me. 😅

I can add an elk recipe if you can add a 'European species' or similar thread.

I naïvely called them 'Swedish mooseballs' the first time until this forum showed me I had the wrong term.

Hi WW. Excuse my ignorance but is Elk not classed as Venison?

Thinking about it, my neighbours mate is a bit of a whizz on computers. I'll ask him about it.

Just finished a coot gumbo.
Used the meat eater recipe
could see a place for it.
Coot was suprisingly pleasant, not too strong or gamey.
I enjoyed it, so i have asked a mate to get me 10 brace when he is on a shoot next week.
I think its the first american recipe i have enjoyed

Hi all. I've a favour to ask.
Does anyone in the know want to be an admin for a day?
I want to put my recipe site onto another browser, i haven't a clue and next doors mate has gone awol.
I need to have a password change so if you use my password then i can change it after the deed is done.
Any willing takers please?
