they also mentioned diabeties this is NOT a medical question on the fac form,YET!

Interestingly diabetes may not be a question but divulging medication soon brings the topic up. I have type 2 diabetes and was recently queried extensively about my ability to hold and discharge a rifle safely by a firearms officer and this was only replacement of my damaged certificate not renewal. His parting shot was that I would have to be closely monitored and it would be far less painful for me to surrender my certificate than have it revoked. I wouldn't mind but this all stemmed from my new GP misquoting the reason for me taking amitriptylene. I havecert renewal in a couple of months which I expect will be a nightmare
If somebody is not feeling very well can they still buy an axe![]()

Well I never - very plausible except we all know the back ground and does anyone have evidence of this emotive claptrap ?
Lincolnshire police have been concerned by the numbers of licence holders who have used their licenced firearms to cause harm to themselves or others.
I dont remember seeing any stats to this effect? Still, if you say it, it becomes the truth if you are the police - come on BASC take them on or explain why not !!!!!!
