7mm 08 Borden mountaineer factory coated action & rail, running 10 round ARC mag through a quality stainless barrel (make evades me at present) ending in dpt mod (they’re a consumable to me). Sitting in an ETAC stock supported by B&T industries bipod/monopod. The S&B ultra short tops it off nicely.
I enjoy the ease with which I can drop on to the rifle and get a perfect sight picture first time, I can be rough & rush the reload and it’s never an issue. The mag changes can be a one handed affair if I need to keep an eye on something else at the same time. It’s a credit to Ronin that made it.

Can I ask about your thinking on the RH bolt, LH eject? I use the same configuration, but don’t come across many others.
I have always just liked them to be honest and it is a single shot action so it does make it easier to single feed in that configuration in my eyes.
Also being single shot I don’t have the problem of mag length when making rounds 👍🏼

I think it would be great to see all those tweaked and tuned rifles in one place.

Hehe.. I have seen a few ZG-47 that are reeeeally expensive.

BixNAndy trigger is perhaps a bit overkill? :) (no judging!)
I have owned 10+ of these rifles, think the original trigger is very good.

McMillan Sako Classic stock?
Sadly this stock modell didn't fit me.. to smal grip. Couldn't fit pinky on grip.

Overall, the ZG-47 is the best commercial M98* ever made.. and use one as my main hunting rifle.

* a few Oberndorf models are better..

Sako 75 with a Krieger barrel 1.8-5 twist 6.5x68 - Zeiss 6-24x56
Sauer 202 thumbhole synthetic in 6.5x68, spare custom 6.5 prc barrel 1-7.5 twist being made as back up all hit like lightning 👍

The lovely Proctor rifle above reminded me of a 7x57 I made several years ago for a very good client

Borden Timberline - Chromoly Action (special one off) Lothar Walther barrel (cm)
Sunny hill CM bottom metal fitted into a custom made stock (made by Gary Cane)
All metalwork blued to exhibition grade finish

Nicest rifle on the forum in my humble opinion
