CZ457 stock upgrade

Hello,
I'm thinking to upgrade the wooden stock of my CZ457 Varmint because are a too small and unconfortable.

I don't decise for the typology of the new stock, I thinking about the chassis but I don't sure for a standard format like KRG Bravo or MDT Filed/XRS instead MDT Orix type...

So can anyone explain me the differences from the two typologies and pro and cons of everyone?

I've had my wooden stock extended. I also have a KRG Bravo stock that I plan to sell soon. I can post some photos later.

A this point I make a test with some hand made spacers and hope can improve the feeling with the little 457 stock...

Try probing the rubber recoil pad with a screw driver around the area you'd expect a screw to be, they often cut the rubber which would close up after.

I have a MDT XRS and love the flexibility and adjustable features of it

I try to remove the butt plate and look If adding some spacers make a real improvements.

If not I look for Field from MDT, I hope have adjustmebts that I need and do not the bad choice compared to the XRS or Bravo.



Can someone tell me if on the EU we have some brand that produces stock like Field/XRS or Bravo?

I don't think that MDT Field and Victrix Lorica/Motus are the same, especially from a price point of view...

Too mutch expensive and redundand for my job.

Thinking of changing my 457 boyds at one stock for a synthetic one but struggling to find one .need it changed to reduce the weight while out and about over the fields.

Have you found much difference with the aftermarket barrels? I’m pretty impressed with my standard lrp

MDT or KRG Bravo are the MOST availlable on EU.

The CZ barrels are good, but so far the Lilja ones are better.
