David’s JAK (Just a knife)

Well it was not the easiest thing to break into, but JAK makes it into a Baobab pod…

Wherever it ends up. It may come back to Australia one day to be sent to Botswana, who knows.

sh1kar who would have thought from back in july 2021 that JAK would ever go much further than Gloucestershire and here he is being deployed in Africa right as I type...bravo to all that have joined the JAK club.

I have two plans and that is at my expense to fly all JAK members to a suitable spot in the world for a gathering to where the game is free ranging, the drinks are cold and the bullschitte is non stop.
There wouldn't be too many more exclusive clubs I reckon.

The second plan is to win lotto lol.

It all started way back in 2021

Rob the knife can go from anywhere to anywhere and if you want to participate go for it.
Your next door neighbour may want to be in the game.

Please rest assured that the whole team is trying very hard to “add value “ to David’s JAK.

We all hope that David’s family and friends enjoy our very modest efforts to do so.

Also: do not underestimate the stress of looking after JAk.

It is my earnest believe that it is JAK’s destiny to go AWOL at some point in his travels.

No one wants to be the one “holding the baby” when that happens.

No one wants to be that guy.

No if you will excuse me, I just need to go and check that I am not that guy..

No it wont happen and if then that JAKman will feel the wrath of Claudia......no one needs that ha ha.

I wonder if a JAK custodian was jumped by three highwaymen and JAK was used in self defence and stabbed the three assailants ..lol....WINNER!
Well three NA skunks would be a tie I think.

Wounded Wildebeest no match for JAK.

Last afternoon my mate Buffalo on here unfortunately wounded a Wildebeest. Of which more later. We spent 3 hours tracking it. With NO blood. No luck. Went back this morning and carried on for another 3 hours when we eventually lost the spoor. PH called it and we piled in truck and headed off looking for Gembsbok. We had driven about a km when we spot a Wildebeest standing under a tree it trots off with a bad limp. We all pile off hurriedly loading but don’t get another chance. So off we go again. An hour later our tracker Lastborn says slowed to a walk and had spent some time under another tree. Still no blood. We walk another 100 yards and it boils out of cover ahead of us. Bam bam. Buffalo and the PH give it a shot. Keels over thrashing. Manages to get up and PH gives it another. Down again and Buffalo manages to get in close and shoot it in the neck. I stab it with JAK for good meaaure

3 375 and 2 300 Win Mag rounds and JAK finally finish it off

It turns out it was a perfect shot right from point of shoulder to liver on far side. But pencilled right through as though it was a solid. A bullet failure and after googling the manufacturer it turns out has withdrawn those bullets in their cartridges
