Dealer boots recommendations.

Hi folks,

My buckler boots (2nd pair) are dying a death after many years service.

I am tempted to buy the same again as I wear them every day, all day and have done for years. I am however wondering if there are any other options to consider.

I want non safety dealer boots. Must be hard wearing and comfortable. Somthing that looks half decent is an advantage.

I tried red backs. Hated them, too hard. Stick with what you know. I went through 6 pairs till I bought a new pair of my old faithful’s

I’ve got some Hard Yakka for work (redback copies) & they’ve been fine.

Red backs are very very good, I wear mine on pretty much a daily basis and easily average around 3 years good use out of a pair before demoting them to use for summer stalking and gardening etc.

The secret to ensuring their longevity is regularly giving them a clean up with Leder Gris.

The Red backs have been recommended to me but those Courtney's do look good

Most of us at work wear Redbacks. Leder Gris? Ours thrive on neglect - though the keeper takes that to the extreme - and his only last 3 years at best. I get 4 years out of mine .
Forgot to say they are a wide fit so you can buy your normal size and still wear thick socks.

Redback UNPU (waterproof) and then treat with Renapur - never leaked in the three years average each pair lasts with daily wear.

For best Alfred Sergeant handmade with commando soles.

They look like my Keepers' boots . Come to think of it, they look like mine too.
