You should try the 'golf ball method' Tim.

I skin munties head up. Normally have to free the skin off as it comes off the haunches, otherwise it pulls a little area about the size of a walnut on each haunch. Which spoils them a little.I have seen it done before where someone had a winch on the floor to pull the skin off. Very good. I'm not sure it would work on a muntie though as I find they rip easily. Can one confirm or deny that?

I do all deer that way using a winch, the winch is mounted above as usual but I have a removable stainless steel roller bar near the floor. Skin or meat can tear if your not careful but the use of a knife soon stops that.I have seen it done before where someone had a winch on the floor to pull the skin off. Very good.
