Do You Own A Vibrator Or Something That Smells?

I use a training collar when I have to, it beeps, vibrates and shocks but not all at once.
The way I use it doesn’t give me time to scroll through 127 options either, I preset the stimulation level and type before creating the situation I’m trying to address.
Theres no quicker cure for a hardened sinner than a couple of shocks when it’s out in full pursuit and blatantly ignoring you.
And that is both the good and the bad of using one, its easy to use, easier still to abuse and you yourself get no feedback except the dogs reaction to the amount of pain you’re causing, so very easy to over- correct.
There should be a feedback loop back to the user, what you do to the dog happens to you too, that’d really cut down on the misuse.

Best thing I ever used on my dog. Checked the shock on me first. I haven’t read the article yet. But I know my dog is no worse off for it. He is a solid sod, I’m laid up and can’t walk him currently and he won’t listen to anyone else. He won’t leave my side even. Certainly hasn’t ruined him.

I once tried a bark collar on a cocker spaniel that was upsetting the neighbours. The first night I put it on him he managed to get it from around his neck and chewed it into little bits,
But never barked in the pen ever again, expensive but effective
