Donington Deer Management Compact Hoist - Anyone using one?

I am thinking of using the tow hitch on my truck to deploy a hoist for gralloching fallow deer.

Has anyone got experience of the compact hoist from Donington/Dave Stretton? CARCASE HANDLING

I won't be shooting any reds and I fancy saving room in the truck. There's some rather large bucks on the ground, but I am thinking that if weight was going to be a problem, I could leave the headgear on the ground.

Any experience to share, or alternative suggestions.

Yes I use a compact hoist, bought when I had a Defender 90 with limited floor space. It does everything you can ask of it and easily lifts red deer for suspended gralloch so fallow aren’t going to trouble it. One downside I find is that I have to be careful when I swivel the boom around for loading the deer into the vehicle as the hoist can tip over. I’m sure that extra stabilisation could be added quite simply but I have a work around so haven’t bothered to experiment further.

I use the standard donnington towbar one and it's very good.
Quick and easy and lifts 150kg with ease
