Drone pro x10

i use at38 £19' with a £45 yukon 3/42 lens, single cell and it gets me out to 500 yards spotting and 250+ for shooting,

write down your zeto settings, and don't forget to press save and make sure it says saved,

then enjoy it

Sounds like the ir is the key ,The armasight ir looks OK any thoughts or better options

the one that comes with it is ok but not as good as the items mentioned above, it's a cracking unit i just wish they could get my sunnranger internals into it as it's a bit more compact with a killer silent on off switch,

I've used all the above on my drone and the best by far is a T74 from irlightbuilds, clear as clear out to as far as you will ever shoot.
you will need a good adjustable mount.

I used the IR which came with the drone (armasight IR) which I thought was good enough. Then I made a sunranger and this transforms it to another level at distance

got to agree,

I was watching deer eating last night out across a field we call 100 acre for a reason, clear as a bell...then the fog came in a fogged it all up.

Not in my experience, the dragonfly ****es all over anything else I have ever tried and that includes the sunranger. Used it with the 10x and the 15x and it's awesome with either.

well mine must have been **** then ?, sold it then the lad who had it sold it ?

Thats twice now i have heard "I made a Sunranger" so does anyone care to tell me, what is a Sunranger and how do you go about making one?

Ian.

t38 with the high spec ir pill. something like a 1 & 3 mode Oslon infrared IR 850nm 940nm you cut back the head so that the yukon lens gets close to the pill.

yukon 3x42 lens or the same shell with a 4x50 lens.

looks like this when its done,

full focusable, 3 mod, and with the 4x50 its flipin awesome.

Is it really so much better then a T50 with Black Sun 2 IR to be worth the bother of the extra purchase of the lens and a T38 to butcher?

yes it is far better than a lot of kit out there,

i have both the 3/42 on my own rifle, and the 4/50 on the estate rifle,

just magic, i do have a t50 but it's been down graded to a torch for spotting,

If you go on the nightvisionforum and speak to a chap on there called dave warlock he seems to have a great deal of knowlege on this subject. I ended up with a T74 from irlightbuilds which is very good. Its worth baring in mind that the newer drones come with a much improved ir. I would try that first,

A T67 and upwards with AS led will throw further than a sunranger, and a Dragonfly when on a tighter spot will throw further than all the current LED torches.

I own a lot of different torches including a sunranger and dragonfly to compare them.
