I am doing my DSC1 at Wadhurst next week so glad of a long weekend to do some more swotting.

Theres one question in the Bank I need some help with

Expanding ammo and where can it be used

answers are


1 taget rifle shooting
2 only for shooting vermin/estate work
3 On a range in a stalking rifle
4 for any purpose ( is zeroing and stalking I assume).

I think the last option is correct but would appreciate confirmation .

Answer b is the correct answer - as expanding ammo can still be used at ranges or approved land for the purposes of target shooting/zeroing (this would be in connection with stalking etc).

Number 2 is correct answer as you can only use expanding ammo on a range to zero your gun prior to Stalking/Vermin control activities. This is often done prior to going out on an accompanied stalk 3 rounds at the bull to satisfy the Stalker you can shoot accurately and for insurance purposes.
