Same here, ebay will do very little if anything, just look how prolific fake leupolds are. I have a feeling zeiss will take a more dim view that their name and logo are being misused.

Checked this unit. It is not the XB 75 Crossbow scope. Thank you to all who have raised this issue. Now handed over to my colleagues in Germany. I agree that elements of this scope, do not look correct.

Hate for anyone to waste their money if it is fake. Good to see members on the forum, bringing issues like this into the public domain.

Should I receive further news, then I will happily post.

Don't hold your breath as regards e-bay. In my experience you take a chance when you buy anything through them and they are not too concerned as long as they get their fees.

Ask if it has a Zeiss guarantee. Find a small fault with it and send it back to Zeiss under 'guarantee'. The proverbial should then hit the fan.

Am I not correct in thinking that you can claim back via paypal if the goods are not as described?
Therefore we should all be able to buy one and immediately put in a claim for fake goods which would be upheld by paypal.
Voila - free scopes!!!!!!
