i dont mean this as arguementative but compared to what? Its still not in the same class as RWL34 / damascene, BG42, CPM S30 v, 60v, VG10, etc
Also i have never understook why the average bush craft person seems to want 01 when being in the UK personally its the last steel i would choose. A whole knife business has sprung out of the supply vs demand of the AW / RM knife...... thats not a jibe at you.
