FC shooting test

hi all im about to join a syndicate in the borders iv done the FC shooting test about two years ago in dunbartonshire will this be valid for the borders our will i have to take it again.

No it wont be valid I did mine at the same time has you S.P. in 2009 and when asking FC about this I was told they last 5years but they wouldn't be able to find the paper work. so I must do it again.

I was told last week by the head ranger for Tayside he can get it transferred for a new member of our syndicate who has done it for a lowlands lease. Either way not a big deal.

I did my test in March last year and was told it would be filed in the Deer hub & valid for 5 yrs.

So it should only be a simple transfer from 1 department to another.

And what a waist of public money and time it is. Having a Ranger **** about and test every lease holder who must have passed Lev 1 anyway. He could be out doing other stuff like (lamping)

It was with out doubt the FCS ranger from that area that did mine he was out with us all morning safty walks shooting etc.

Any shooting tests I have done have usually been conducted in daylight hours, but its an interesting concept lamping in daylight, I must ask SNH if I can have a "daylight lamping shooting" authorisation to go with all my others. Can anyone shed any "light" on this radical issue.

Sorry David did yoo not understand the diskushion wus shooting tests a wayst of muney, then yoo sed the ranger cud be lamping, i sed test were dun in daylite, and hinted lampin wus dun at nite.

no David i do not wunt to bye them thankyoo, but you be shure two tel christian Nissan @ highland game that you store yor dear in the freeser until yoo hav a few then thor them out beefor they ar colektid.

No Roger i thought your post was just a personal dig at me now wouldn't that be a change. With regards christian he picks them up next working day so they are nice and fresh. Your the only one that wanted them frozen but desperation were cash is concerned will lead even the strongest men to the dark side.
