Much obliged G1 - I was looking at some just this afternoon but the ones I saw didn’t include the battery. These look great however so if the newly arrived Heat Company toe pads don’t work I will go for these.

What insulated boots are you using?
Reason I ask is that I use Aigle 5mm neoprene ISOs which are great in the cold when your moving, but not so much when plotted.
Use the Grubbs Eskline 8.5 when it’s real cold or in a cold seat. Bit clunky but the warmest and most insulated wellie I’ve ever used.

I got these two years ago and they have been very good, in boots and wellingtons.

Thanks FB - tried quite a few but no great improvement so seems medicine change is main cause. Interestingly the heat pads last night in -1 worked very well indeed though heated socks look a good idea but the batteries sitting in the sock might be uncomfortable?

edit to add I use them when standing around clay shooting and walking about the clay ground, so not a hiking type situation.

Fortunately i dont suffer with cold feet or hands, my wife suffers with Raynaud's disease.Good man but all those years with cold feet…..

Indeed, she runs typically 6x week distances up to 14-15 miles all year round.Lucky man.
Not so lucky Mrs though - a pal has it - not pleasant at all.
She has asked for handwarmers for her birthday this month, have invested in some heated gloves for her.

Not sure how she will get on with these but they heat both back/front hand and fingers.
may depend on the wellies mine have an adjustable gusset and the batteries are curved to sit close to the leg so i position them opposite the gusset so no discomfort. Hopefully gusset is correct term. like this.Thank you sir. I invariably use wellies so batteries might well be annoying…

In fact, the only times I take them off is to go to bed or to go stalking.
