Firmware update ATN Mars 4 - help!

Anyone got one and can help me please?
I’ve got an SD card, formatted it, downloaded the updated firmware and loaded it onto the SD card.
I have inserted the SD card and then turned the scope on, and, nothing.
It’s supposed to automatically show a prompt saying ‘update firmware’, but it doesn’t.
Nada, nichts, rien, nothing!
Apart from that, the scope functions fine, and I can see on the menu that it knows there is an SD card inserted.
So what am I doing wrong?
Anyone? Help please!

Never had any problems with SD but as it says on the online firmware site 'if you have problems with a SD card then use USB-C ..

Was it formatted as FAT32 or NTFS?
Im not familiar with the Mars but for most other things it can cause an issue if not FAT32.

I have no idea what this means! I’m old and have to get my teenage son to show me how to use my new mobile phone!

FAT32 format only allows individual file sizes up to 4GB, NTFS can have larger files
When formatting a SD or USB you get the option.

Not that your firmware would be over 4GB but for things like firmware and BIOS its usually FAT32.

No offence @Morkai, but are you dyslexic?
