Yesterday evening we went to the local pension/B&B/Butchers for their biannual Kesselfleisch evening (an all you can eat products of the pig for 14.95€) with the best mashed potatoes I have ever tasted.. Here are a few pictures.

Lunch today,I ate half the cherries,the rest are for supper,the prawns are gone. I ate them all along with another tray yesterday. **** me there was only 18 per tray. Beer today is Carlton Draught..whilst the box of Coopers chills.
Btw I do not devein the prawns...down the hatch as is and I rip the carapace off and take a bite out of the head too.

Our foster child caught me biting and sucking the heads and thought it was my be of the most disgusting things she has seen until she tried it (she will try anything) and now she does the same thing.

Very excited for these Fallow Barnsley chops tonight
currently sitting in some salt, oil, rosemary and Garlic and I have a nice bottle of red and some spuds to go with
they are mighty - well over an inch think so I think a quick sear in the pan and then in a smoking hot oven to 52 degrees C internal
Pretty sure that for proper Barnsley chops normally you take the tenderloin out separately but I was working from memory
