Forestry courses.

Cheers dave never knew there was such a place/school.

Not really sure the barony is doing that much nowadays, althou could be wrong really only interested in vet nurses coarses and horses now ( not a bad thing for any male students thou)
think most is from the highlands college now

Do have any experiance with this course?

Bangor is the only degree level course I know of (I am currently considering it).

Depending on your background you could start the process to become chartered. I imagine that will be just as useful as a degree (on paper)..

Have a look on the ICF and RFS websites, they list 'approved' courses.

Just completed my MSc in Forestry with Bangor. Great course - choice of modules you can choose from and staff very supportive. Be prepared for a tonne of reading lol!

Evening all,

Anyone on here know of any forestry courses that are available as online learning that result in a recognised qualification? All the usual places to look are full time courses, and I'm not able to take a year out to do one as a full time student.

Any help is much appreciated 👍

Having spoken to a few students on this course a couple of years back, I got the impression that actual jobs for qualified people were rather scarce/oversubscribed in the profession, but this may have changed over time.
