I bought a rekon carbon tripod as was convinced I'd think it was great, its been out twice in a year, it is good, but I can't be bothered lugging it around, but I'd be lost without a bipod!

What you and many others fall fowl of is assuming that some one has or has not done, not sure why you are dragging Lee into it as you clearly have enough to say with out borrowing a comment from some one else!
If you look at my post it was directed at the OP not yourself is that correct?


Your count is 2121 in just over a year so you should hit the 30k+ mark in 14 more years.
It is quite simple just look at my posts/threads as they don't involve yourself apart from these last 2/3

Never do it any other way. Actually, it is a padded shooting bar mounted over a Landcruiser mirror.
I did jump out once and took a shot over the tray. There is still a hole in the opposite dropside It was pretty dark, and in my enthusiasm I neglected the scope height thing. Have left the hole there as reminder.

I havent dragged Lee into anything, just using a quote from him that I like. I ll ask him if this has offended him ...which I doubt very much as he appears to have thicker skin then you buddy.

Im entitled to my opinion in the same way as you Tim...the real irony is you got the arse with me for some reason when I actually like your opinion on a lot of things...just you appear to be able to give it more then receive it.

note on rice filled rest bag "dont leave it up the high seat"
i left one hanging on a hook under the seat to keep it dry only to have mice make three or four holes in it and empty/eat its contents
