Fox Red Labs vs Black Labs

Little beauties those 2!
Two different breeders, they are 3 months apart but are related by one grandparent. They work in the Security department of PSE, mainly pets but are very useful on deer tracking, snipe, woodcock, pheasant and duck. The younger was a bit gun shy with a shotgun but never minded a rifle. That has gotten much better though. Best friends.

I have had both.
Look at them at a distance . Reds blend in before blacks. Nothing in th natural world in UK is jet black.
When out with stalking partners, they always see my black dogs before me.

Too much hocus pocus in all this. The difference is one is red and the other is black. Black is perhaps less likely to get shot by the gun that got ****ed at lunch.
Who in in there right ****ing mind gets a snoot full of John Barley Corn while hunting?
