i know they are. always have been. bullet in right place but foxes running (dying but pain in the arse finding in cover and ground i work in) if it was a worn out rifle accuracy would be an issue would it not? which it isnt, holding zero fine. what do you think?Doesn’t sound like a calibre problem. Or a bullet problem because those Vmax are pretty explosive.
Youve plenty choices
22-250
22 creed
6mm creed
Sorry, should have qualified the figures, 400m 90degreeAye but surely that’s depending on range and direction of wind
im shooting them for my job not for fun so wouldnt be risking a fox on degree of the wind or that distance.Sorry, should have qualified the figures, 400m 90degree
I was being pedantic, tounge in cheek, ref. 80mph wind drift.im shooting them for my job not for fun so wouldnt be risking a fox on degree of the wind or that distance.
Try using a bait station and hopefully they will come to you and at a safe known distance.im shooting them for my job not for fun so wouldnt be risking a fox on degree of the wind or that distance.
thats easier said than done on 20,000 acre. need a few stations.Try using a bait station and hopefully they will come to you and at a safe known distance.
thats what im looking at!If you’d shed me last year I’d have said 22250 for ever…. Recently I’d go 22 creed for its ballistics. Problem is factories arnt chambering it yet…. I’d hold off untill Tikka come up with it as an option…. Can’t be long now!
Ok thanks. There's many. You'll know the best hot spots by now. Best place to position the bait.
20,000 acres = get some more hands to the pump... if your trying to do that all by yourself you must be young and keen.thats easier said than done on 20,000 acre. need a few stations.

not doing it myself but need some amount of bait stations to lure in every fox that comes onto the place.20,000 acres = get some more hands to the pump... if your trying to do that all by yourself you must be young and keen.
Ok thanks for that advice. You sound like a farmer.Sure farmer could help with the bait and keeping a eye out for foxes. That's what they do for my mate.
