Foxing Rifle Opinions.

Never had one but always on the bucket list..had .223 and .17 remi....Cheap enough to load for .204....Plenty of practice and not too hard on the pocket

22-250 all day for foxes. Shoots flat and hits hard. Had a 223 and it does the same job but 22-250 makes you smile more. Easy to get factory ammo for as well

I've had two 204's and absolutely love them. Zero recoil, so flat it's almost unfair, & faster than most. Absolutely nails them, love it.

Funny thing is mate, under 400yd it's going so stupid fast its gone before wind has chance. I've never really stretched legs on mine but on gongs in breezy days & still hitting 4" gong @ 500+yd.

223 with 1:8 and shoot 69TMK.
It will out shoot you and TMK re Vmax effect on foxs. 600ydsshould be easy enough as long as you get the range and wind right.
Alternative would be tight twist .204 or 20 TAC. 39 BK or 50 grn Berger.

With the utmost respect, Cyres. As I know you really do know what you're doing, especially with the 204. 600yards, especially on a fox, with any rifle would, especially at night, I think be beyond most people's ability, certainly mine!

Just get a good nv scope or thermal with LRF for your 243. The tech makes the difference at night, especially if you're going out to decent ranges.
