Have compared it with Nightmasters Trident and the FP was definitely better. I haven't compared to the LL mentioned directly. I do have a LL Night Sabre Alpha. At shooting distance there would be little difference but for ID and, in particular, eyeshine, the gunfire definitely has the edge. I must add that it is of course the white that I compared and couldn't say how the red pill offerings from LL would compare. Same as everything, it is horses for courses and depends on personal preference, the land you shoot over, core purpose of the torch etc. The build of the Fox Pro is second to none. As an example, the dimmer switch is far superior to that on my LL Wraith Sunranger.
I think you’ve made my mind up to buy the foxpro, what is the ID like at 200yds with the white light buddy?Have compared it with Nightmasters Trident and the FP was definitely better. You'll have no issues with ID at 200yds! I can ID way beyond my comfortable shooting distances on the white and red. I can't speak for the green pill as I have the white, red and ir combo.I think you’ve made my mind up to buy the foxpro, what is the ID like at 200yds with the white light buddy?
Just checked mine and it is a 25mm main tubeI might be being an idiot but I can’t see the diameter of the main tube of the torch anywhere online! Can you enlighten me please, @RTAW85 ?

To be honest, I have never researched it. The tail cap controls are a cracking wee set up. No fiddley knobs and completely silent operation. There are a couple of FoxPro field staff on various Facebook pages and I would say they'd be the best bet. Or contact FoxPro direct? The thread doesn't fit my LL torch but does fit other torches I have knocking about (nightfox for example). With discount, the whole kit costs 225 delivered. For the standard of what you get, and relative to other brands, it think it's a pretty good deal.
The deed is done!
Well sort of, this came today, a birthday present from my wife

Out tonight on the foxes, I think game changer is how I’d describe it, 100% id at 500yds+ every time and I’m confident it’ll go a lot further, shot two at 170 and185, saw the strike clearly both times with the green light and the white is even better, i wouldn’t bother considering anything else on the market, phenomenal bit of kit, 10/10 I recon, the dimmer switch is awesome .
