Freelander 2 tips and mods

I have recently started using my 63 plate FL2 as my hunting/ stalking bus.

Has anyone done any mods or has tips they are happy sharing ?

Have you protected undersides, had any good recs for protective covers etc

This could be interesting.
Anyhow, I have a heck basket that just fits in the boot. So I can carry dead things outside the car.
I bought brighter lights internally from powerful U.K. but not fitted them yet.
I have waded through 2’2” of water. I don’t recommend it, but it did and I shat myself. And I stayed dry inside.
I am debating on
Raising the suspension
Protecting the underside from ruts. But not sure where to go to for them as yet.
And do I need a winch? I get stuck every 5 years and the farmer has a jolly good laugh at me.

Plenty - search SD using my name and Freelander. Recently moved over to a dS so have now fitted similar mods to that

If you're having trouble finding them, do you need protection from them?

Used my FL2 for lamping around fields & general light off roading around my permissions.A capable motor however the tyres are the limit of where it will go.
Few weeks ago I ended up in a drainage ditch with the Landy bottomed out,cracked number plate & 2 sensors out of place was the only "damage".
