Fridge/Chiller conversions

Here’s mine. I just drilled a hole in both sides of the fridge and put in a length of threaded bar, the secured with nuts and washes on each side. So far had two reasonable sized Roe in side by side. Option to hang by the aitch bone also. Cheap USB fan with its own clamp works extremely well.

I bought a high end Samsung tall larder fridge off eBay £150 had been £2K it’s got an air circulation system that runs like a spine down the inside of the rear face. Made an A frame out of aluminium that fits in to the shelf inserts

Do you have to cut a hole in the fridge or does the fan only circulate the internal air of the fridge?
Thanks
Only circulates air in the fridge - no need to introduce “fresh” air as the air in fridge is lower humidity than outside so you’re just introducing warm, moist air.

Most newer fridges have a lot of shelves in just cut a bar to fit and slide into grooves , no cutting or screwing required
