An Update: The ammo arrived on Friday and the sale of the half million rounds we got to sell will be this Saturday. With only word of mouth, we have already pre-sold over 20 cases of the 100 on the pallet. The exciting part is that the half million rounds that were donated to the club for out family and youth shoots turned out to be over 500,000 rounds. Evidently there were an additional cases of ammo stacked on top of the pallet. After the sale this weekend I'll post the details but it's darned nice to have that kind of corporate support.~Muir
But how will your local police Firearms Licensing Officer cope with the extra admin of entering each and every round on all the individual buyers Fire Arms Certificates?
Seriously, we are so restricted here (as you are well aware) that we have no mechanism that I am aware of that would allow this to happen in the UK.
So we cannot even be charitable or generous in this way.

That's too bad. Here I could order the .5M rounds for my own use and it would only flicker the Governmental eyebrow, I think. Of course, where do you keep a half a ton of 22LR ammo with a street value of $90K??? ~Muir

Seriously a forum friend from the US bought a new Fridge/freezer larger than his old one which still worked so he put the working one in the front yard with Free... working order label on it and it sat there over a week. Getting sick of the sight of it he removed the ticket and wrote a new one For sale £75.
Went out to the market and when he came home it had been stolen .
