Gun cabinets - how many guns?

When I was living in Cheshire (but under Greater Manchester Police) my FEO saw my 5 gun cabinet (admittedly from decathlon and bigger than brattonsound )and said "that's fine for 10guns".
Think I had 7 in it at one point.

I had 14 in a 5 gun, FEO said they don’t fit… I said that they did fit as they were all in. I am a reasonable man so to avoid an argument I compromised and picked up a three gun cabinet and now have 17 guns in two cabinets. My day to day guns are in one with the bulk of the collection in the small one like a 3D puzzle.

More cabinets = more guns

It would be a terrible shame not to use the extra capacity!

No matter what you buy you always need a bigger cabinet. I thought I was set for life with my 2 48 gun safes but I still could do with more room. What a great problem to have in life! Enjoy what gives you pleasure in life!

I have never heard of plod doing un-announced checks, but if they know that your cabinet is really over-flowing, I would think you could be a prime target to check that you are putting them away every night.
