Your response makes no sense old chum. Not a chance would I buy £27 insurance. I have never needed to claim on shooting insurance just like most of us. However, when I did need it I very much doubt that it would cover my needs when proper insurance costs way more than that.
The shootings organisations will get big discounts by taking out group policies. Totally different from buying a single policy.
Because BASC put themselves up as the voice for shooting. Not saying they would, someone made a point that BASC (who I'm no fan of) should help, but if he's not paying his subs to them, why should they
Well old bean (lets see how man marginally derogatory names we can get on this thread shall we?), that your choice entirely. I also hope that you don't need it but don't expect too much if you do as the cover will quite obviously be stripped to the bones to get it down to that price. Think 3rd party, no fire, no theft, against fully comp with recovery and free hire car.Your response makes no sense old chum.
This insurance service provider won’t just work on the concept of 1 single policy, they will work on large volumes same as NGO/BASC
Who provide cover for MILLIONS as well as multiple glossy magazines etc, for under £100
This is solely insurance, up to about £250k, for £27
It’s absolutely viable that this could be of some use, and for £27, I’ll give it a go and hope I never need it!
No one is being derogatory me ol’ cocker! It’s harmless banter!Well old bean (lets see how man marginally derogatory names we can get on this thread shall we?), that your choice entirely. I have just been informed my licenses been revoked they have had my guns since April 2021 they have had no contact with me no calls no return email I managed to talk to someone this morning all they said in a clever attitude was you will have fight it in crown court at my cost and I was attacked at work in a hospital and I protected myself all on cctv with witnesses and the police don’t want to know.Guns will be removed following an allegation weather its historic or current. Once the flm has investigated spoken with all concerned a decision will then be made. If there is no case to answer you guns will be returned. If there is the licence holder will be invited in for a chat. Guns will be returned or the holder will be revoked the holder can then go through the appeal process.
Too much in the media re armed cops turning up with out a warrant raiding folks home.
This is standard practice to send arv its simply easier logistically both on a paper work side and a practical side. The arv crews have access to armoury and are familiar with the process. Basc ngo and similar organisations have no authority or powers they will simply advise to cooperate then seek legal assistance during the enquiry interview phase.
You will forgive me.I have just been informed my licenses been revoked they have had my guns since April 2021 they have had no contact with me no calls no return email I managed to talk to someone this morning all they said in a clever attitude was you will have fight it in crown court at my cost and I was attacked at work in a hospital and I protected myself all on cctv with witnesses and the police don’t want to know.
Unfortunately the police set themselves up as judge, jury and executioner a long time ago. In a lot of forces they appear to be run by a modern day sheriff of Nottingham.I have just been informed my licenses been revoked they have had my guns since April 2021 they have had no contact with me no calls no return email I managed to talk to someone this morning all they said in a clever attitude was you will have fight it in crown court at my cost and I was attacked at work in a hospital and I protected myself all on cctv with witnesses and the police don’t want to know.
I think a little less yawning and lot more competence and accountability from our public services is long overdue.
Always remember that, they are a SERVICE not a force.I think a little less yawning and lot more competence and accountability from our public services is long overdue.
I remember that, the problem is that those who ought to remember it appear to have very little idea of what "service" means.Always remember that, they are a SERVICE not a force.
Not stalking you old fruit, but I am always (when I can be bothered), going to respond to posts on a public forum, with which I fundamentally disagree.I knew you were a child after reading your posts but I didn't realise you were that young. Back to your stalking habits then.
I’m hoping to get a phone call tomorrow Iv asked for one I’ll wait and seeThe first step in any response to this would be to ask the relevant force very politely for their reasons why they chose to revoke your licence, bearing in mind they have had your firearms for nearly 12 months before any 'decision' was made. Ask for a formal response in writing as you are probably going to take legal advice ask also for a copy of the Video tape recording that they have so that there is no confusion between their evidence and yours. Before you have either contact the Police Complaints Commission and ask them to look into it for you as you cannot afford to challenge this in the High Court which was the only option given to you.
Mention the context and say you will provide the video and the Police response if you get one. Then write again when you have them. Look for a firearms specialist solicitor and ask how much, allowing for the first free half hour it would cost you to make an assessment of your case for return of your firearms. Mention to the solicitor you have the evidence and the Police response - again if you get one.
This is the Police acting very wrongly in my view - they should explain in detail why they chose to remove your guns and why you are considered to be unsuitable to hold firearms.
You must try to push back - we have the same rights as someone the Police have failed to contact over robbery etc. This action is very high handed - far to high handed and, apart from any reponse you may get from the PCC you might trigger a rethink from the relevant Police. Ask yourself what do you have to lose ? a few hundred quid or the sport you love and like many - live for.
When you say “your case” are you an accused or suspect or has the person who assaulted you made a counter allegation? What makes me laugh about my case is there was witnesses stood there when it happened. Also my firearms office who Iv know for 20 years said he as no issues with me getting my guns back. But they have taken no notice of the officer that knows you
