Harness for dachshund?

Hi guys

Can anyone recommend a harness for a standard dachshund? Hes about 15kg. Its just for walking him. We have one made from webbing that we bought from a local pet shop, but on longer walks he gets chafing under his front arm pits (leg pits?). He doesn't pull hard on it, and I have tried to adjust it, but I cant get it to a point I am happy with it. And so far I can only find Chinese made crap products here in Aus, so hoping to find something more comfortable for him in UK / Europe.

Have a look at niggeloh. Not cheap but really good fit I have one for my dachshund. It’s the “follow” model and sized small. My boy is about ten kilos.

Thanks. Niggeloh look good, but I found Julius k9 have an Aussie distributor, so I can get one a lot faster locally. Think I will give the Julius k9 a try. Just waiting for the boy to wake up so I can measure his chest.

i’ve got the Niggeloh in small for my two teckels they work brilliantly and well made - just the job

Personally, for walks, I only use collar and lead - when off lead and especially running loose, a collar is much better with less restriction IMHO. I only use a harness for tracking as I find it easier in cover with less tangles.
