Head shooting

But you have got that completely wrong (as usual). it’s not professionals who are headshooting who are moaning about prices. It’s you lot who are moaning about people headshooting in order to increase profit. Headshooters are perfectly happy going about their buisness earning a premium for something they are confident doing.
I am not moaning about the price at all, also you need to check your spelling before pressing the send button.
Big deer get one in the ribs and if the muntjac are close enough one in the head/neck.

But you have got that completely wrong (as usual). it’s not professionals who are head shooting (fixed it for you) who are moaning about prices. It’s you lot who are moaning about people head shooting (last time) in order to increase profit. Head shooters (and again) are perfectly happy going about their business (fixed it for you) earning a premium for something they are confident doing.

Typical crapreolus click baity trash, been discussed before ad nausem by Feildsports britain and others, projects a bad image of stalking and throws us under the bus in order to grow their online presence with a contentious issue that draws attention.

It is simple just don't but like Nick was told by Admin for berating women I think he learnt his lesson.

it's quite hard though to ignore such a staggeringly arrogant dogs arse..........
How is the carnivore diet ?

At least Sheamus has worked out who Nick is... think I have also.
Never had buck fever for a lot of years but foxes always gets the heart racing.

I am now at the stage where Im not that bothered about deer just take them when the opportunity arises , gone are the days getting up at 1st light for them.

I will however get up at 1st light for geese or crows.
Bet your heart was racing when you off loaded your last profile identity 🤣

I watched that video last night as well. And I was pretty uncomfortable with it. I am not going to preach never take headshots, as I have taken plenty over the years. I used to cull on an estate in the highlands where most hinds were headshot - but we worked in pairs. One would shoot for the head whilst the other backed up. Then the second moved to the next hind aimed for the head as the first reloaded and got onto the body to back up. This was done on the open hill. We got in close before we started.

But it wasn’t pleasant and I wouldn’t by choice do it again.

I can understand game dealers paying a really good price for non toxic head shot venison. And wanting to paying very little for lead shot into the body carcasses. Lead shatters and fragments causing metal contamination right throughout the carcass.

However most monolithic bullets do not fragment. If they do break it is into large pieces easily recovered. I have body shot plenty of deer with non toxic bullets and carcass damage is pretty minimal and you can confidently recover a large portion of the meat knowing that it doesn’t contain lead. Quite why dealers are not prepared to pay a reasonable price for such carcasses is somewhat troubling.

Also why the fact that our government has reset the relationship we have with our biggest market for food products so each side recognises each others phytosanitary regime for food products is beyond me. Especially that not that long ago both sides worked to identical standards.
