Who's that aimed at any one who thinks shooting roe does in season is ok if you what to get on top of numbers now is as good as any. personally I believe to many good roe buck are shot for the heads regardless of wether its in its prime and should be left nothing wrong with trimming up the does as long as there's a few left not a problem. Keep the farmer happy and you will Manny years of happy shooting .

Well you obviously weren't paying attention when you did your DSC1 ! and have no understanding of biology. Some does can by yeld for a variety of reasons - may ovulate as they are not at their threshold weight during the rut, may abort or reabsorb the foetus due to illness during pregnancy etc etc,.

The beast was is season. some folk have cull targets to meet. Even ignoring those basis facts a foetus is a foetus whether a 2 day embryo or near full term.
Guess most know who the really laughing stock is......

I wonder if Wise man has ever been muntjac shooting I doubt it very much or any deer for that matter .probably just a few nice trophy buck and thinks he's doing a great job well done ,while some of us have to do the not so nice suff to control the population in the general area ,shooting heavily pregnant DEER thats muntjac fallow reds sika and Roe all are not particularly nice no matter witch one it is .I cant speak for were frenchiboy is but were I am in Suffolk some parts a over run with roe and muntjac I was ask by a friend who came in to are shop to come and sort the roe out before the does are out as he counted 14 in one of his grass field he hasn't seen that Manny roe before ,when I ask how many he wants shot he said he doesn't mind four. so I will be off to have a look soon to see what we can do ,there is bound to be one or two pregnant does in that lot but that's what it is .if I don't go someone will a least I can shoot what I think are the right ones to go

Just seen this and taken Wise man comment off. I will add thst no offence has bern committed in taking pregnant Roe does in late March.

However i finish my Roe doe cull in February, others may not have this opportunity and need extra time. As with my colleague i can see a reduction in membership if anymore of this language and posting continues.
