Having "used" them for years, I acquired a set to mount in my LR but didn't get around to it................

Easily solved with a sectored grommet/edge protector - given what I've done in a LR off-road using these

BOLTS OUT in vehicle ( ive seen a few holes in doors and footwells)
2 Aim or similar bags in the back, 1 rifle in each facing the correct way for either left and right side occupants to be able to pull out when needed.
If the idea cost £500 it would be a good one..

For a long time I would have the .243 with my N/V kit on also the .270 glass scope with me at harvest, the 270 lived in a large slip and the .243 the drag bag while on the road, on the farm the slip (unzipped) was against the upright of the back seat and the drag bag.
A few times when there was just not enough light I would have to use the .243 so just lifted the drag bag open switched on the nv and whacked a couple of rounds in. With a rifle up right and reaching in to get it out the natural thing will be to hold it at the muzzle with it coming first.
With in on the back seat you can pull it out flat.
I’d be interested in one too Rory, just got the Ogdens auto slip which I do like but no good for two rifles when out and about.
Anyone care to measure headrest bars for me?
