Hellfire missile bounced off it ffs.

What I don’t understand is the clarity. We know it’s cheap and easy to take ultra high definition video now, so why is anything like this always impossibly out of focus/overexposed/black&white etc etc.

Whatever it is, it took a hit from a Hellfire missle, bounced around a bit and carried on flying, any idea's as to what aircraft can do that ?

This story is cobblers from beginning to end

Hellfire is an air to surface missile not air to air

It can’t be employed is the manner suggested by the tinternet crap
Whilst I’m a little out of date now, we upgraded Brimstone (pure millimetric radar) to include a SAL for laser designation to minimise collateral damage/utility. The US did the same for Hellfire, the AGM-114R "Romeo" Hellfire II which entered service in late 2012. It uses a semi-active laser homing guidance system and a K-charge multipurpose warhead. If the second Reaper/Predator/Protector drone was designating, or indeed the launch drone was self-designating, it’s possible that such an event could have occurred given the object’s track and speed appear constant.

Hellfire can and has been used as an air-to-air missile:

“The AGM-114 has occasionally been used as an air-to-air missile. The first operational air-to-air kill with a Hellfire took place on 24 May 2001, after a civilian Cessna 152 aircraft entered Israeli airspace from Lebanon, with unknown intentions and refusing to answer or comply with ATC repeated warnings to turn back. An Israeli Air Force AH-64A Apache helicopter fired on the Cessna, resulting in its complete disintegration.”

Absolutely 👍😂
Kenneth.
Ps. I think there’s some Pinfire and Black powder ones on the drawing board as we speak.
