Bought one of the self inflating, roll up laksen ones. Not impressed, goes flat after half an hour.
Need to think again !

a while ago somone put on here that they were using the bag from inside the boxes of wine/cider/beer you get and just blowing them up through the tap and the just letting them back down again i actually pulled one out once and they are extremly tuff for what they are and will hold your weight

I have used one but wasn't impressed. I probably had too much air in it and rolled around on it. It did keep the air in it though. I use one of those kneeling mats now on highseats and if sitting on the ground.

Lone wolf sell a gel cushion for their assault ladder stands and i find it very comfortable but as comfortable as building a nice big hochsitz and putting an aluminium Aldi chair in there.

My one is simila to this

I have 6m of 6mm rope I use for suspended gralloch and to lift my bag up and down to the seat. This is formed into a loop and wraped three times round the cusion making a over head strap to carry the cushion to the seat with

I find it makes a massive difference in the winter and when the seat is damp

IanF introduced me to these a couple of years ago, easy to carry in a pocket, easy to use and makes a hell of a difference on a cold hard seat
