I've tried various options over the years - bits of foam, camping mats cut to size and prefer something like this: Allen Self Inflating Camo Seat - a small inflatable cushion. I find them handy for clipping around the waste so your hands are feee for stalking into a seat, but the problem is these Allen ones just don't last. They appear solid enough from the outside but they leak air after a few uses - my current one is flat and pointless after about 2 mins sitting on it! I've tried repairing it with bike puncture repair kit, but to be honest it's now leaking from so many places that'd end up more patch than seat!
Has as anyone come across a more robust option - needs to be able to fit in a pocket or clip around the waist as I'll often stalk for a while before ending up in a seat.
Will give the bushwear one a try and see if it lasts any longer - cheers!
