I was out on fallow and munties a couple of weeks back, mainly sat in a high seat for around Four hours at a time, a couple of the guys had foam pads to sit on, heated socks and electronic hand warmers which I’ve since bought for walking and seem to be a brilliant idea but this got me thinking as to what people like to take when in a high seat or a box. I know this topic has been covered previously but technology moves on so what are people’s go to items, earphones, books, cigars, sit pads / cushions, battery powered heated socks………..what is everyone using?

New hand warmers from @Monarch Country Products ( brilliant in the recent chill), and my Sugpak jacket (it’s amazing), in addition to the usual stuff.
Which Snugpak have you got?
Sleeka Elite. It really is the bees knees.
I've got the same. Can't beat throwing it on over the top of whatever I am wearing when I'm really cold. Warms me up a treat. Packs down really small as well and I don't have to be careful with it like I would a down jacket.
Not familliar with it. Don't buy a sasquatch, I got one for someone as a present and it never gets worn because its too warm! Might be ok for really cold weather sitting in a high seat but its quite bulky so probably not ideal to shoot in. I reckon heated gilets are the way to go.

I’m sure it will be good, but Sleeka is cheaper and warmer.
I tend to go to TK max or even decathlon. Paid about £40 I think for my last one. It is a bit hit and miss at TK Max, but, I’ve done ok so far. But of course, my secret is the heated jacket underneath. 
The SJ9 is rated to a lower temperature. Also the hood looks good.
I haven’t decided yet, just thinking about it.

Good waterproof seat cushion full of close cell foam. Phone with downloaded pod cast, AirPods which I only have one ear in at a time. Bins, thermal, rifle
Has anyone fabricated a roof for a high seat 
, i do like to be comfortable if im sitting in a high seat for a few hours, i dont mind a bit of rain, or snow, but if you can sit in comfort surly its got to be a good thing ?
Flask of coffee and a couple of sandwiches, plus a few other quiet nibbles too.

I time my outings to less than 2 hrs, roof is fine but with strong winds as we do get it could tear it off.Has anyone fabricated a roof for a high seat

I look at the weather just like all my shooting so that makes the difference for me.
