Hikmicro zero issues any alternative?

I commented also. Mainly this year I've been using the Alpex 4K on my rimfire for rabbits.
I've had quite a few misses which on reviewing the footage are unexplainable.
So the other day I left it in night mode and re-zeroed during the day. Shots were an inch high and and an inch left.
No surprise I kept missing rabbits over their heads.
In day mode it was zeroed. So there's some loss of accuracy switching between night / day mode.

The stupid thing is it can be silly accurate, including with the ballistic calculator out to 90m, the you go and miss something at 60m and you can't understand how.

The below is 1" squares and was shot at 50m. 22LR. Alpex 4k.

I have two 4k LRF, one 4K and a 4 K lite LRF - never had a loss of zero on any. All my rifles are more precision rifle than stalking rifles and I use solid rails and rings, all fittings torqued to spec. I think it’s a bit presumptive to just blame the scope if all other options haven’t been ironed out. I’ve seen someone miss a dead cert deer because of a cold clean bore (took half a dozen shots to return to zero at the range after).

I can't believe I'm reading this post. I have had exactly the same issues! I know full well that I can shoot well and I know that this sounds big headed but I have genuinely just missed a buck yesterday at 70m and in my mind it was in the chiller before I even pulled the trigger. Of recent weeks this is a string of deer that I have missed and it's been causing me to think I'd lost it when it comes to my shooting. I've been thinking that I might be rushing or snatching the trigger or expecting the bang.
I've been back and forth to the range (100m tube) and managed good zero and sub half inch 3 shot groups. I was even thinking that my rifle might of been starting to get shot out! Maybe this explains the mystery 🤔 unless of course I am a crap shot 😆

Your rings and its maybe be rock soild and shots good but your dealing with electronics...
As stated above fine on one mode but zero unexplainably moving when switching to another mode when it shouldn't.

Seemed to be few folk suffering same fault....maybe need to report to Hik

I'll see if I can get the footage. I've got probably over 60 videos that it's taken from every stalk but they are all on the scope. When I think about it all the ones where Ive missed might actually be when it was zoomed right in to over x18 or more.

I’ve been using 2x Alpex 4K’s on my stalking and foxing rifles for approx the last 18 months and neither zero’s have moved. I don’t like switching on QD mounts so bought another and both live permanently on the rifles.
Recording shots does help with confidence, the few ive missed, on playback its clear its been me not the scope.

As others have said, I have 2 and never had issue... and the one on my foxing rifle has seen a fair bit of abuse too 😂 pishing about in the dark, on top of truck canopies and gator roofs its taken a knock or two and still keeps performing

Just posted on facebook about my hikmicro aplex 4k having zero issues, shot two deer at 150m bang on and had some cracking shots with it but last two weeks randomly missed 2 easy shots and when checked footage back and checked zero it was bang on, lots of people seem to be having the same issue, i just dont trust it now, just watched a deercast video after someone told me to go take a look aswell and i just cant be using it they had issues aswell, people have said theyve had no issues with the c50? does anyone have any reccomendations on day night scopes, good or bad looking for as many reccomendations and issues as i can so i can make an informed decision on weather i just have to go back to glass or there is a day night scope that doesnt have these issues thanks
Do you wear glasses?

Yes i had those issues. Zero was moving off a MILE. Did that a couple of times. Saw all that crap before with the dS so it went back to HiK.

Good service by the way. DPD made it interesting but the company itself were great.

Came back, I zeroed on the range. Took trip back today and it was still cock on. Here’s hoping.

If I still have problems then it will be leaving. The low light capability is worth persevering with for me, but just send it back for them to check out.

Thats interesting as i zeroed it on day mode and the 2 shots that were missed it was in night mode, today i actaully had it on auto and wondered why it was still in nightmode as it was light enough so maybe glitching, thats quite an interesting find and lines up with mine missing in night mode

Yeah i was second guessing myself aswell until i spoke to the gamekeeper and he said his friend had same issue with his scope so then asked the question today and now loads of people having the issue i knew it wasnt a bad shot and it was one of the easiest presented to me in a while
