Hi everyone looking for advice on how best to set up a set of fridges I have acquired for storage of roe deer in. Where about to put a rail? What kind of rail and how large diameter? Can I bore holes into it or is there a better way?

The fridges I have is 2 of the below.

Thanks in advance Everyone

The fridge comes with four or five shelves.

Just put one of those in the top-most recess and then hang your deer from there.

I've had three roe hanging from mine for a week with no trouble.

To keep them from resting in the blood tray suspend them via the aitchbone either on an extended S-hook or buy a couple of @Tim.243's fridge hangers.

As a fabricator I re used a piece of old builders ladder in a H cut the tread in the middle and found a piece to fit in side.
tapped it through and made it to the width of the unit so it sat on a shelf moulding.
Or a couple of bits of 3x2 and drill a hole through the same size as your rail. or cut to notches out the top of them and lay the rail in them. 26mm key klamp galv pole is v strong.
