I have a stainless one with a Houge stock and a Pard 008LRF, shoot it 3-4 times a week in all weathers and hasnt let me down yet.
People don't rate the Houge stock as the forend is a little flexible and if you give it some effort the forend will touch the barrel, screwing with your point of impact. As the stock is essentially worthless, I scraped out the rubber at the forend in the barrel cavity to increase the gap between the stock and the barrel. No need to shell out on an expensive stock alternatives if you don't want one!
Personally I rate the houge stock and the rifle as a whole. I like the overmoulded stock, beavertail forend, accuracy and the price! Make the modification to the stock as above to give you piece of mind.
I'd say it's a really good tool which does the job perfectly. Very functional.
