oh dear
thats scuppered their reputation, everyone has been singing their praises,
i for for one won't have one after I witnessed one fall from the back of a landy and it split into 4 bits, I dropped my foxpro off the roof at 35 mph onto frozen ground and it's still perfect,

update on gc350 nothing wrong with it my fault cable was catching edge of rubber grommet and not seating fully my 74 year eyes just did not see it called rob at bestfoxcall posted tuesday returned thursday all programed with 24 english calls sounds great fantastic service and a great guy to chat to many thanks rob cheers trev
well done on the old dog fox me and my mate are out tonight to try for a couple of roe in tree nursery just before dark will give it a couple of hours from high seat then try the caller for charlie saw one last week but did not take the shot as he was skylined hoping for better luck tonight trev

Not quite, I think most people are savvy enough to realise that any product or supplier will have a unit that will have somehow slipped past quality control. It's how the supplier deals with it that is important to their reputation. This is the first time I've heard of an issue and by the sound of it the supplier sorted the "problem" in a very quick and professional manner, if anything it in my eyes it has helped their reputation.
The call that works best is the one that brings the fox in. Every fox is an individual though - some will turn and run from the same sound that attracts another. Although the mating calls tend to work well during the breeding season, they can also be productive at other times of year too. My method is to try, say, a 'squeaky' rodent sound, and if that doesn't work, switch to a bird screeching. If nothing appears after ten minutes or so (using shorts bursts), I'll have a go at one of the fox calls. By that stage I've usually got a pretty good idea if there are any foxes around, so I'll either rinse and repeat or move on!

Don't worry about what country the calls come from - just find something screamy and it'll work fine - if there are any foxes around, that is!
