you do not need to add bullets to your FAC, only rounds.
I think it has now been established that, as well as complete rounds, S5 bullets do in fact need to be added to the FAC.

it shows though what exactly you are using when you need to talk to police , i managed to get my cert opened up on the amount of bullets i was using ,this does make a difference with the feo even though people say otherwise ,it is good practice to show your usage, atb wayne

Not according to the home office guide. Section 3 PARA 3 .
Expanding bullets do not have to be entered on ones certificate and BASC has also written guidance on this issue if you had concerns.
I can see your point but you could also prove it with receipts. Too many people seem to think that they they would be commiting an offence by not entering them on their certificate and it just adds to the confusion when it comes to threads such as this one.

yes that is my point reciept or entering onto an fac to show usage , dalua im not just talking about letting off hundreds of rounds for the sake of it but proving you are shooting properly and deer numbers being culled and showing exactly how many outings you are doing proves a point , some people only go out a couple of times a year or firing a few rounds and wanting conditions removing like you read all the time doesnt help a case. i would rather show my usage and justify what im doing with proof to back things up, atb wayne
I think that this has been found to be incorrect guidance.
I think the current BASC guidance says exactly the opposite.
Very useful information. Thanks for posting.
Plus one to BASC.
However, how do we stand on ordering expanding bullets from abroad with reference to the fact that the Act states they must be entered onto the individual's certificate in accordance with your associated posts on your other thread (whatever it was entitled)?
Just to be clear on this, is it lawful to get them posted from abroad if you have the correct quantity & calibre authorised on your FAC? atb Tim
thats mad i can inport but i cant get them posted from say reloading supplies down the road ? or am i reading this wrong.
not if you have friends of the same calibre and you club together and split you will save quite abit i have 6 friends all with the same cal i think its time now to do some ordering as we also use same bullets/ loads, atb wayne. ps just on your 300 alone you would definately save some money ,why chuck it away when you dont need to . atb wayne
mereside
you can import for your use if on your fac but to import for someone else could get messy
if you have 1000 on your ticket and give sell 200 to your mates could be classed as a dealer
I fear this is why there are so many people using proprietary target bullets on game!
