inbox full how do you delete

can anyone tell me how i delete old messages from inbox i cant see delete anyware dont want to lose contacts exetra

Box in the right hand corner of each message click it there should be a tick appears then scroll down to the bottom it will say selected messages click that a drop down should appear with the option to delete.

If you don't want to lose your contacts, etc then you should download the messages to your PC first.
