But banned at bisleyCome on, lads. This is not about the cost of a bullet per deer. And you know that.
I shoot about 1,000 rounds per year of which only about 20 are spent on deer. The rest goes down the range.
So I do appreciate cost concerns when it comes to the price of bullets. Though personally I have stopped thinking about it. Monolythics can be so much better than lead cup bullets!
Which is hardly of any interest to me. And if it was, my commentary to them would be to grow up.But banned at bisley
May be wrong but I think it applies to public use of all MOD ranges, so it’s the MoD that apparently need to grow upWhich is hardly of any interest to me. And if it was, my commentary to them would be to grow up.
Ed these look really good and I'm tempted.
Looking at Peregrine's site it looks like for 243 at 95 and 100gr as well as 25-06 100gr and 7x57 130gr and 150gr that RL 17 would be one powder for all. Which is a faster burn that I'd use now.
Wondering if that is the case (faster powder over cup and core) generally for mono's?
All new to me.
Ill run anything through quickload for anyone wanting to try the,
we are about to test the 136gr 308 and .224 bullets with Viht and RS
Update to follow
Can you do a quick load guide for .308W with N135 please?
Alan

Here you go. Obviously a lot of assumptions used so be careful with the data and watch for pressure signs etc. Interestingly the Peregrine load data is with Somchem 335 which looks (from their chart) to be between N133 and N130 ....quite quick for a 308
