I am joining to be able to contact kindred spirits. My interests include deer stalking and hand loading. I have previously enjoyed responsibilities for deer management on estates in the west country. I have spent some years in France where I enjoyed boar hunting and the freedom to own and use handguns. I’m winding down a bit now. I live in Wiltshire north of Shaftesbury. My sporting library is quite extensive including some African classics.
I have hunted plains game in Africa and have a modest collection of representative trophies. I have also hunted in the USA on two occasions.
My current rifle is a Blaser R8 in .243 and .308.
