Good evening, I subscribe this group because I'm a new shooter that love long distance PRS and reloading. My first and actual rifle is a Savage 110 High Country in 6.5 PRC with MDT Chassis.

I need help with relaoding 6.5 PRC; vihtavuori powder and 140gr Hornady bullets.

Hello and welcome.
I'm loading 140gr Hornady SST with Vit N565 powder in 6.5PRC. Primers CCI BR2 in Hornady brass.
Best node was a charge 0f 58.8gr which is very close to a 100% fill. COAL 2.949" CBTO 2.333". This produces 5 shot groups of .5MOA and a velocity of 3015fps. SD of 5. Cleaner burn than the factory stuff. Obturation is good.
Warning. Shot from a Bergara 24" 1 in 8 twist barrel on a hot day this load is near max. 2 very light extractor marks (barely visible) on the base out of 10 shots. No other signs of excess pressure though. The load is used for practice and some gong shooting, so not lots of rapid fire.
The lower accuracy node at the same CBTO was 56.7gr giving 2925fps (10fps slower than the factory 143 ELD-X) and grouping 1 MOA.
I'm in the process of working up a load using the Nosler 142gr ABLR for stalking. Not finished yet though.
I hope that helps.
