Is there really a good reason that US based powders are banned in the UK?

Although never a good idea to just chase velocity three examples below match or exceed your previous load
Not knowing your H2O volume it has to be assumed
if your load data above is correct then the comparable Varget load using the case volumes is waaayy over pressure and compressed....

Doing a little more investigation into WHY my VARGET .223 load hasn't blown my face off in the 25+ years of use I noted that the starting point for water volume of my fired cases in your QL production is 28.8cm cubed whereas looking online for quality information I see that Winchester fired brass has an average volume of 30.1cm cubed.

That too will likely make a significant change to the pressure assumptions made by that QL reloading program I would think.??

Could you perhaps insert this measure into your QL re-calculations along with the C.O.A.L. measure for MY loads of 2.310".

Who cares?

Honestly there are great range of powders sold in kilos from RS and Viht, available in bulk 3.5kg tubs that produce less pressure sign at higher velocities for impressive loads.
Then you have the Ramshots, the Enduron range, Lovex, etc etc

Honestly unless your hobby/sporting discipline involves flying round the world with your rifles and shooting thousands of rounds at long range (6-1000yds) and you measure the variance in your groups by the digits AFTER the 0.1MOA........ I would argue there is a powder out there that is cheaper (even at the crackers £95-98 per kg RRP it's still cheaper than £45-48/lb!!) and better than the Varget and 4350 you were hooked on.

4350 costs me about $AUD 380 for 4kg or 24 quid per lb. And very temperature stable. Guess I'm going to be hooked for a long time as Australia already voted to leave EU.
