I've tested a Hatsan Luxarno today prior to purchase.
What the heck is a Luxarno anyway?
It comes with two barrels. I've settled on the short one.
After some stock adjustments and boy is it chunky it comes up quite consistently but with the long barrel on it doesn't seem to line up as nicely??
I added a smear of grease to the action spring and magazine spring which hushed up it operation loading or unloading.
So far it's taken a few squirrels, crows, pigeon and four pheasants. Of course I missed plenty but no worse than normal for me with any shotgun.
I like it's operation and firing cycle also.
And if you're sitting down....I even tried steel shot!! Just standard pressure Hull hydra wad mumbo jumbo and, err no, not impressed at all sorry, not for the cost anyway.
I also shot some sg and lg loads. LG loads were eley. Not especially good but the old S&B sg at fifty yards would of killed a fox!
I know it's large shot and very random but also considering I just threw the gun up and shot it was confidence inspiring.
I know it's a Hatistani but it does carry a superior proof mark a Fleur de lyes mark.
I abstained from shooting snipe but enjoyed mounting the gun on them, all looked good to be honest. I also left the hen pheasants.
What ya fink?
