Jacket/Smock for a larger bloke.

I need a new jacket or smock suitable for a larger bloke.

I've tried a ridge line classic smock in 4XL but it was a bit too tight around the waist band which actually made it hard to get on over my shoulders.

T Shirts/Jumpers i wear a 4XL normally. But i suppose a jacket would need to be 5xl to go over a few layers.

Had lots of great musto and barbour stuff over the years but now not much goes up to my size and very rarely is there anything in store to try on.

I'm working on dropping a bit of weight but as i'm sure everyone knows it is a lot harder to lose than put on!

If anyone knows of a good store with bigger sizes in the Essex area please let me know.

A have a couple stoney creek jackets and iam a size smaller in these than others . Usually a between an xl and xxl in jackets but these are large and xxl. Only reason gor a xxl is do a lot of wildfowling so got bigger for more layers underneath. If any local shops has them near you then defo worth trying them on 👍 been out in all weather's and never been wet

The Ridgeline smocks get a bad rep on here, but I have the pintail ghillie and rate it! It isn’t a jacket for the height of summer, but certainly not as hot as most would have you believe. The monsoons are very heavy and will boil you alive.

If you can find 1 Verney Caron smock ,mines 3xl .
Plenty of room for my 48" chest.
Came from New forest clothing, unfortunately V,C went bust recently but some maybe still on the shelf.
