Plus one for the Stornoway, good long side zip for when you get warm, decent pouch, quiet and long enough - can't get on with short jackets..Harkila stornoway tweed one. Just works.
Thanks dvs1 good to know you can’t get that swedteam before I waste a load of time looking!Like you I wanted the ultra lightweight smock by Swedteam, I tried one on once and it was awesome! However discontinued and I tried to source one abroad at great lengths with no joy.
I then had the swedteam Ridge Pro M above which was a good smock, nice features, poachers pocket on the back too! Neoprene cuffs though and damn hot!
Currently running the Harkila Orton Tech Packable Smock, I'd say this would tick your boxes!
Ultra lightweight, no neoprene cuff, big kangaroo pocket, hardware pockets, permanently attached hood, full length side zip for easy on and off.
Not tested it in heavy rain but for all your demands it'll be perfect.
Smock
If you want anymore info or specific photos of the smock just let me know mate![]()

Are nomad still making stuff? The website has the crappest pictures in the worldSounds like the Nomad quad rider ticks all the boxes, I have the standard smock from nomad and a game jacket both over 10 years old and functioning the same as day i bought them with a little wear and tare.
I'd be interested n replacements if there are any out there
Just whether they are worth the premium price. I completely get the made in Britain element and concurrent labour costs but I suppose they also do still have to do the business!I have a hilltrek, what do you want to know?
To be honest I would say no, I wouldntt buy another at current price. They are very good, they are very waterproof and they breathe quite well, but there’s not a lot of features to make them so expensive. Annoying things like the chest pocket zip isn’t waterproof, so your phone ends up in a little pool of water, they’re not cut super long so you can get a wet bum when out on a quad etc.Just whether they are worth the premium price. I completely get the made in Britain element and concurrent labour costs but I suppose they also do still have to do the business!
No I don't think so, the boy sadly passed away last year I think.Just whether they are worth the premium price. I completely get the made in Britain element and concurrent labour costs but I suppose they also do still have to do the business!
These do look rather smart and tick the kangaroo pocket requirement. Just not sure about the colour and paleness of the material.![]()

Another vote for FORTIS .FORTIS are worth a look.
BC.
I have the same trousers, they’re awesome.I have a Swedteam Ultralight, which I love dearly. Luckily it keeps on trucking!
As and when the sad time comes to replace it, I think I’ll go Fortis. I already have the Venator trousers which are superb. Worry the smock might be slightly heavyweight though.
This has neither of the OP's requirements of:
