And of course you also need in Rex Tarr’s renditions. Totally politically incorrect but any Rhodesians will totally understand

And

Chillapalappa or fanigallor (feck knows the correct spelling) is the language of the mines and farms in former Rhodesia. Its a bastardised language with a mix of local languages- shona, zulu etc with Afrikaans and English and is a means of communicating widely.

It has now rather morphed in Zambian, Zimbabwean or South Africa English which is used very widely.

Swahili is an equivalent further north in Tanzania and Kenya and was the language used by Arab slave traders. It has now become the official language in Kenya and Tanzania.

And of course you also need in Rex Tarr’s renditions.
Just for those who don't know who Rex Tarr was:- a funny guy with (intended) many strings to his bow...

Tarr was a news reader for the Rhodesian Broadcasting Corporation for a time. He then went on to become a popular comedian, producing several Chilapalapa records. In 1978 Wrex was awarded the President's Medal for Bisley Rifle Shooting. Tarr then went on to compete in the 1988 Olympics representing Zimbabwein archery along with his second wife, Merry. Wrex Tarr also ran a swimming pool business in Zimbabwe and, later on after relocating to South Africa, was an organiser and contributor to the St. Francis Conservancy Project where he served as a steering committee member.
